Responsible for design review/identifying design issues/design modifications in order to meet required installation operating standards.

Other duties include material procurement/ material inventory control/ work scheduling/ permits to work/ daily reporting/splicing of all SM/MM fiber/system wire terminations/commissioning of above said systems/client acceptance test documentation/red line/as-build documentation.

Communications Superintendent on two simultaneuos projects. Manage sub-contractors on both a 33 acre housing project and large DOD Helipad/hanger project.

East End Housing project consisted of 13 barracks. Responsible for review and placement of OSP infrastructure/ manholes, hand holes, duct banks, copper, fiber and CATV backbone cabling.

Barracks consisted of voice/data/catv/ fiber/ intercommunication duck and cover notification system/ peer to peer fire alarm systems on stand-alone fiber network ring.

Hanger project consisted OSP copper/fiber/ secure and non-secure networks.

Responsiblities included daily/ weekly progress reports/ preparation of project test plans/ review of all material submittals and preparation of all test documentation for government submittal, Weekly briefings with USACE/ ISEC/ TAC/ Department of State, at which time, progress, issues and or field solutions are discussed.

Building included SCIF/ VTC rooms/ installation horizontal/backbone cabling/ NIPR/SIPR/ JWIC fiber networks/ fiber to the desk.

Responsible for coordination /brief meetings between DISA/ IA/ DIA/ DCS-SWA/ USACE/TAC/ ISEC/ SSO in order to meet project and or system requirements. Performed all acceptance testing/preparation of client turnover test documentation/red line drawings/as-builds.

Working General Foreman responsible for overseeing multiple crews on large I3MP ISP/OSP projects on a U.S. military base. ISP work consisted of CAT6 voice/data cabling. As a working foreman, I was responsible for insuring installation practices were followed/ closet build outs/ labeling/ testing. OSP work consisted of large count copper/fiber backbone/ plant cabling. I was solely responsible for all fusion/mechanical splicing/ manhole racking/grounding/ OTDR/OPMLS testing/ preparation/submittal of test results/red line/as – builds.

                  ISP/OSP Team Lead – Iraq

Responsible for survey crew of five personnel to perform site surveys of 4 military bases     Throughout Iraq for customer connectivity to existing base communications infrastructure (both copper and fiber). I surveyed each base in order to determine installation routes.Developed a Statement of Work (SOW) Engineering Design Package (EDP) and Bill of Material (BOM) for each location. Submit dig permits/alternate traffic patterns/ requests for utility locating. Responsible for coordinating with local base contractors for materials along with vendors outside Iraq for procurement of materials and establish Air transport of materials.

Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC) Government QA/QC representative for all, ISP/OSP projects at Ft. Riley, Kansas. Responsible for insuring work performed meets Government specifications per IMOD/ I3MP/ I3A standards. Projects consisted of building a new Lucent 5ESS Central office telephone exchange/refurbishing manhole copper/fiber infrastructure/copper/fiber cabling of firing ranges.

Supervised/managed multiple crews on Camp Anacondas Phase 1 OSP project. Responsible for the installation of base wide concrete encased duct bank system/trenching/road cuts /manholes/ racking/ halo grounding/building penetrations/ fiber/copper cabling per Government specifications. Terminated and spliced both large count SM fiber and copper cables. Installed equipment backboards/cabinets/ patch panels/ copper building entrance terminals (BET). Responsible for accurate butterfly drawings/ daily reports for both progress and material usage.

                             FTTH Road Superintendent/ Senior Fiber Splice Technician

Responsible for simultaneous fiber to the home projects (FTTH/FTTP) throughout the Midwest.  Worked closely with engineering, construction, drop/ plow crews, along with the client(s) to ensure continuity within each project. Supervised and instructed crews in the installation, labeling, testing and troubleshooting of newly installed fiber. Prepped fiber enclosures, cabinets and performed splicing on both Hot and dark fiber. Responsible for all testing and client turn over test/as-build documentation.
